Student and Wellbeing Services are available wherever you are

Wellbeing services

We are able to offer wellbeing appointments across both our sites and have various counselling options available to our students. The wellbeing advisor will offer practical support and guidance and signpost to the best option for you after your triage appointment. They can also support you with wellbeing strategies to help you thrive during your time with us.

Disability and inclusion

We are able to offer advice and support to help you with your university studies. Our disability advisors will meet with you to discuss your strengths and needs and help you with an individual learning plan to support you during your time studying with us. We can also help with screening for Additional Learning Needs and refer you for assessment if required.

Financial support and budgeting

Our financial support advisor can offer support with budgeting and making your money go further for you whilst you at university. If required, the financial support advisor can assess against requirements for our various hardship funds and advise on financial support which may be available to you.

Study skills

Our study skills teams on both sites can help you develop your academic skills for studying at university. Study skills advisors can also help you with planning and structuring written assignments and managing deadlines. We also have an English for Academic Purposes Advisor who can support with language skills for successful study.

Teaching and learning facilities

Our London site has a range of facilities to support students in their studies including a Learning Hub, which has an extensive library of books, journals and anatomical models.

The lecture theatre and teaching spaces have been fitted with high-tech audio-visual equipment; recent additions to this space include a virtual reality suite and a recording lab to support teaching and learning.

Students also have access to technique practice rooms and spaces for independent and group study.
