| The Functional Movement Screens – Big Three | 10th July 2024 | Lecturer in Exercise and Health, Marcus Sanger | Join this “Live-Stream” session to review the scoring of Gray Cook’s FMS (Functional Movement Screen) – the Big Three: the overhead squat, the inline lunge and the hurdle step. A simple and efficient way to screen a patient’s movement patterns within the clinic using the FMS kit, and to possibly inform the choice of additional localised assessments. This session will also include the recent addition of the ankle mobility clearing test, a simple red, amber and green clearing (RAG) test based on the research of Dr. Kyle Kiesel. |

A Rare Cause of Knee Pain in a Child A case from The World Kickboxing Championship |
4th September 2024 | Lecturer in Chiropractic, Mustafa Agaolu | During this live stream webinar review of a young male kick boxing athlete, with knee pain complaint. The cause of his complaint was not in fact a sport-related MSK issue but a rare condition malignant tumour, osteosarcoma. The most common malignant bone tumour among children and adolescents, and is often overlooked and misdiagnosed. This session provides an overview of the condition and aims to create awareness of the signs to look out for. |
