Treatment of the Warrior Athlete
Date: 15-16 July 2017
Presented By: William E. Morgan, DC
Early bird ends Monday 5 June 2017
This course will prepare the clinician to efficiently and proficiently evaluate and treat patients from rugged occupations and warrior athletes. On completion of this course participants will be able to:
- Identify and treat the most common patterns of injury in athletics (and in life)
- Adjust the spine and extremities with increased confidence and competence
- Recognize certain motion patterns which betray dysfunction
- Attract cross-fitness enthusiasts and other warrior athletes to your practice
- Keep the warrior athlete working and performing
On the Monday morning following this course you will be able analyse exercises and motion patterns and provide corrective chiropractic treatment to help warrior athletes attain elite levels of fitness without injury.
You will have an understanding of the cross-fitness phenomenon and be able to converse with cross-fitness athletes in their lexicon. You will also be familiar with common injuries affecting military, firefighters, police, adventure racers, martial artists, and other warrior athletes.
Chiropractic evaluation, adjusting, and myofascial treatment will be included in this seminar. In fact Dr. Morgan will emphasize adjustments and manual treatment more than rehabilitative treatment.
