British Science Week
Local School Visit
As part of British Science Week, we invited the pupils of Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School to join us for an action packed morning of interactive talks which were focused around health, exercise and nutrition. The morning aimed to engage, educate and encourage the children to think about leading a healthy and active lifestyle as well as the benefits it brings.
Our final year interns led the activities with the children clearly enjoying themselves, playing our ‘Balanced diet’ drawing game as well as our ‘Fun facts about the anatomy’ game.
We also regularly hold school events as part of our outreach programme, giving our students the opportunity to volunteer to visit various schools and colleges across the UK - including the schools that they studied at to talk to students about chiropractic; great CV building experience and an amazing way to promote awareness for the chiropractic profession and spinal health.
